Ed, yes, I feel just the same way. While I think McCain would have been a fine president, there is history in the making with Obama.
Ryan--I hope that at least some of the people who didn't vote for Obama feel like it's a big night for America. I have been discouraged by apocalyptic and apathetic responses to his win.

Oh, happy day!
I can't even begin to put into the words the joy I felt last night, for so many reasons that go way past seeing Obama win.
It was truly gratifying getting to tell my sons this morning that they can be anything they want to be, and not feel like it's a pipe dream.
Jen and Asher are already making plans for 1/20/09! (I'm sure I'll be working and Noe will be at school. Oh well.)
